Die folgende Frage poppte vor einiger Zeit in unserer Microsoft-Partner Yammer Community Deutschland auf und möglicherweise ist die Antwort von allgemeiner Bedeutung, wenn man zugrunde legt, dass das Verfahren nicht nur für die unten genannten VL-Programme gilt.
Frage: “Wenn ein Kunden mit einem Tenant im Zuge eines Select-Vertrags startet, ist es möglich diesen Tenant ohne Migration in einen EA mitzunehmen?”
Antwort: “Migration betrifft ja nur den Wechsel von Plänen (und selbst das ist heute einfacher). Das hier ist ein Wechsel von Lizenzen. Eine ähnliche Frage wurde seitens Microsoft wie folgt beantwortet: Sorry for delivering the inaccurate information in my last reply. I just thought you bought a new subscription through the Enterprise Agreement. I have consulted our Sales and Billing team about the Enterprise Agreement. According to the information I got, to assign the volume licenses to the existing users with the current subscription, please refer to the following steps:
1. After paying for the Microsoft Enterprise Agreement, there should be an email which confirms the information that you have successfully bought it. In that email, there is a link that will lead you to bind the licenses with your Office 365 subscription.
2. Click that link and there will be the page asking for your existing Office 365 administrator account credentials.
3. Finish the process with the wizard.
4. Then you can sign in to Office 365 admin center to assign the licenses to your existing users and then reduce the “previous” licenses.
